§ 14-9. Restraint.

(a)

All animals shall be kept under restraint on a leash not exceeding six feet in length and shall not be permitted to run at large.

(b)

All owners shall exercise proper care and control of their animals to prevent them from becoming a public nuisance.

(c)

Every vicious animal shall be confined by the owner within a building, or secure enclosure, and shall be securely muzzled or caged, whenever off the premises of the owner.
