§ 2-26. Composition; terms; salaries.

(a)

The village board shall consist of the president and three trustees elected in odd-numbered years and three trustees elected in even-numbered years for terms of two years.

(b)

An annual salary shall be paid to the village president and board of trustees pursuant to the following summary:

(c)

The above salary rates for each village trustee and village president shall commence on the third Tuesday following their election. The salary shall not be increased or decreased during their term of office.

(d)

Employee benefits available to board of trustees: Elected officials may participate in the employee wellness program and other programs and special events offered to village employees in an amount not to exceed $50.00 per year.
