§ 2-169. Appointment; term.

(a)

The finance director/treasurer and clerk shall be appointed by the village president upon recommendation of the village administrator, subject to confirmation by a majority vote of the members of the village board of trustees. The president shall not have a vote on such a confirmation.

(b)

The finance director/treasurer and clerk shall have an indefinite term; subject to removal by the village board upon recommendation of the village administrator.
