§ 38-1. Penalty for violation of chapter.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter or any rule or regulation made under this chapter shall be subject to a penalty as provided in section 1-4 of this Code. Existence of or imposition of a forfeiture under such section shall not, however, prevent the village from removing any violation of this chapter in the exercise of its police power or through appropriate court action.
