No in-line skates shall be operated on any roadway in the village where a sidewalk
or path is present. In-line skates may be operated on sidewalks and paths within the
village, provided that the operator maintains at least one skate on the ground at
all times, yields the right-of-way to pedestrians and does not otherwise operate the
in-line skates in a fashion which unreasonably impedes, or tends to impede, pedestrian
traffic.
(b)
The operator of in-line skates shall not ride upon any private or publicly owned property
where the use of in-line skates has been declared prohibited by the owner or party
in lawful possession of the property by the posting of a sign or signs prohibiting
such activity.
