§ 10-232. Forfeiture.

  • The license of any public dancehall shall be forfeited or revoked by the village board if the excessive use of alcohol beverages is permitted on the premises during the holding of a public dance, there is allowed at any such dance intoxicated persons or children of 17 years of age or under unaccompanied by their parent, lawful guardian or adult spouse, and for disorderly or immoral conduct in such dancehall or on the premises or the violation of any of the rules, regulations and laws prescribed by this article. If at any time the license of a public dancehall shall be forfeited or revoked, upon hearing after at least five days notice, at least six months shall elapse before another license shall be issued for such premises to the same licensee.
