§ 66-2. Statutory offenses.

  • (a)

    Definitions. The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this subsection, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Definitions in this section shall conform to the definitions given in the respective statutes referenced.

    (b)

    Offenses enumerated. The following offenses, as defined as misdemeanors by state law, are prohibited in the village, and such definitions are incorporated in this subsection by reference as though fully set forth in this subsection. The penalty for violations under this section shall be limited to a forfeiture as set forth in this section:

    (1)

    Carrying concealed weapon (Wis. Stats. § 941.23).

    (2)

    Criminal damage to property (Wis. Stats. § 943.01(1)).

    (3)

    Criminal trespass to dwellings (Wis. Stats. § 943.14).

    (4)

    Theft of property (Wis. Stats. § 943.20 (1, 2)(3a)).

    (5)

    Issue of worthless check (Wis. Stats. § 943.24(1)).

    (6)

    Financial transaction card crimes (Wis. Stats. § 943.41).

    (7)

    Public fornication (Wis. Stats. § 944.15).

    (8)

    Lewd and lascivious behavior (Wis. Stats. § 944.20).

    (9)

    Disorderly conduct (Wis. Stats. § 947.01).

    (10)

    Resisting or obstructing officer (Wis. Stats. § 946.41).

    (11)

    Possession of marijuana (first offense) (Wis. Stats. § 961.41(3g)(e)).

    (12)

    Possession of controlled substance (first offense) (Wis. Stats. § 961.41(3g)(b)).

    (13)

    Drug paraphernalia under Wis. Stats. §§ 961.573(1), (2), 961.574(1), (2), and 961.575(1), (2).

    (14)

    Trespass to building and land (Wis. Stats. § 943.13). No person shall intentionally enter into any building, any enclosed railroad car, any enclosed portion of any ship or vessel, any locked enclosed cargo portion of a truck or trailer or any room within any of the aforementioned without the expressed or implied consent of the person lawfully in possession of the same. Entry into a place during the time when it is open to the general public is with consent.

    (15)

    Fraud on restaurant keeper, or taxicab operator, or gas station (Wis. Stats. § 943.21).

    (16)

    Retail theft (Wis. Stats. § 943.50).

    (17)

    Unlawful use of telephone (Wis. Stats. § 947.012).

    (18)

    Public library; failure to return borrowed property (Wis. Stats. § 943.61).

    (19)

    Battery (Wis. Stats. § 940.19(1)).

    (20)

    Trespass to a medical facility (Wis. Stats. § 943.145).

    (21)

    Unlawful use of computerized communication systems (Wis. Stats. § 947.0125).

    (22)

    Laser pointing violations (Wis. Stats. §§ 941.299(2)(b)—(d)).

    (23)

    Carrying firearm in public building (Wis. Stats. § 941.235).

    (24)

    Carrying handgun where alcohol beverages may be sold and consumed (Wis. Stats. § 941.237).

    (25)

    Endangering safety by use of dangerous weapon (Wis. Stats. § 941.20(1)).

    (26)

    Possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18 (Wis. Stats. §948.60(1), (2)(a), (3)).

    (27)

    Aiding and abetting any of such listed offenses.
